Agent no longer a PS3-Exclusive?

During Spike/GameTrailers TV E3 All Access live show, host Geoff Keighley asked Sony America (SCEA) CEO Jack Tretton on wether or not Agent was still in the work. The answer was that yes, the game is still very much in the works.

But Jack Tretton couldn’t give a straight “No” when asked on wether or not Rockstar Games Agent is still a PS3-Exclusive. He instead say “I’m not sure exactly where we’ll land on that, that’s more something for Rockstar to decide, but i’m sure we’ll have a great offering on Agent for Ps3″.

This makes us think. Could Agent be coming to the Xbox 360? Perhaps even the new Nintendo Wii U and the PSVita?

Keep in mind that this is still very much a rumour.

Take Two Confirmed for E3 2011

e311

Rockstar’s parent company Take Two Interactive is confirmed to be attending the E3 2011 that will be held in Los Angeles from 7th of June until the 9th.
Last year Rockstar backed out of E3 because they wanted to invest more time in their projects.
Let’s look at the possible announcements and current project reveals we speculated about last year and join the discussion!

What we already know.

Rumours and possible announcements.

  • New GTA Teaser?
  • Bully 2
  • Manhunt 3
  • New Portable Game?

Agent:
E3 2011 will start on 7th of June and will end the 9th.
At that time it’s been 2 years since we’ve got the Agent announcement.
We are hoping to get a trailer of any sort of media that involves Agent!

L.A Noire:
Rockstar kept their word, L.A Noire is in the spotlight everywhere and it deserves to be. A release date is yet unknown. It could be before E3 or after.

Max Payne 3:
This is one I’m really curious about, we haven’t heard anything of Max in a long time and the ‘New style’ wasn’t being received so well by the gaming audience.
Is Rockstar giving Max Payne 3 a reboot? Are we getting a trailer? We hope so!

New GTA Teaser?
3 years ago Grand Theft Auto IV was released and after that Rockstar released more highly acclaimed titles but we all know that every Rockstar fan out there can’t wait for a new GTA.
We just need to have a little patience..

Bully 2:
Last year composer Shawn Lee accidently  ’confirmed’ Bully 2:

“Yes. It looks like I will be doing the soundtrack for Bully 2 in the not so distant future…”

We’ll let you talk and think about the other ones…

When the E3 is happening be sure to leave a browser tab open with RockstarBase.com as we will provide you with all the Rockstar news that will be coming out of Los Angeles!

Episodes from Liberty City was a timed 360 exclusive, and Agent is scheduled just for the PS3. What are the benefits of releasing games exclusive to a single platform?

In general, we like to make our content available to as broad of an audience as possible. That said, we’ve partnered with all three hardware manufacturers from time-to-time to create exclusive content. There are times when exclusive games may make sense, either because the platform holder is so excited about it that they are willing to share the investment risk and put an effort behind ensuring a successful launch – as was the case for the episodic content for GTA IV on 360 – or because the content is perfectly suited to the platform – as was the case with Carnival Games for the Wii and DS.
