Story
Two years after the release of Vice City, Rockstar Games released GTA: San Andreas. Based during the year of 1992, you play as Carl Johnson, who has recently returned to Los Santos from spending five years in Liberty City after the shooting of his mother.
CJ is determined to find out who shot his mother and get revenge on them, this will take him across the whole state of San Andreas. He will experience betrayal of his long time friends, meet different and new people and ultimately put an end to the drugs and gang violence that engulfed the city of Los Santos.
The geography of the state is similar to that of California and parts of Nevada, the cities of Los Santos, San Fierro and Las Vanturas are based loosely off Los Angeles, San Francisco and Las Vegas respectivly, as well as countryside, deserts. bushland, forrests, farms and “outback” type area’s.
