Midnight Club 1 was developed by Rockstar San Diego ( former Angel Studios) the developer was also responsible for Midtown Madness which is in big lines similar to Midnight Club.
The game was released October 25, 2000 andNovember 14, 2001 for the Game Boy Advance.
The players race through New York and London but not with expensive cars right away, you will start in a lowly New York Taxicab and work your way up to the top.
When you are making progress through the game, you will get more exotic cars to race in.
To create the boxshot from MidnightClub 1, Rockstar got permission to shut down Time Square in New York.
